Logistics Wiki¶
Welcome to the Logistics wiki! A modern Minecraft logistics and pipe mod with authentic in-pipe item motion, built on Fabric.
Getting Started¶
New to Logistics? Start here:
- Installation - Get the mod installed and running
- Your First Pipe Network - Build a basic transport system
- Understanding Tiers - Learn the progression system
Core Concepts¶
Understand the fundamentals:
- Pipe Networks - How pipes connect and form networks
- Tier System - Mechanical → Smart → Network progression
- Item Transport - How items move through pipes
- Connectivity - Connection rules and behaviors
- Routing - How items choose paths at junctions
Pipes¶
The core of Logistics - transporting items through your network.
Tier 1: Mechanical Pipes¶
- Stone Transport Pipe - Very slow transport
- Copper Transport Pipe - Standard transport backbone
- Item Extractor Pipe - Pull from inventories
- Item Merger Pipe - Converge to single output
- Golden Transport Pipe - Speed boost with redstone
- Item Passthrough Pipe - Bypass inventories
- Item Void Pipe - Delete items
Tier 2: Smart Pipes¶
- Item Filter Pipe - Route by item type
- Item Insertion Pipe - Prefer inventories with space
Power¶
Engines generate RF energy to power automation machines.
- RF Energy - Understanding the power system
- Redstone Engine - Basic power from redstone
- Stirling Engine - High power from fuel
Automation¶
Machines that automate tasks - some use RF power, others use fuel and temperature.
- Laser Quarry - Automated 16×16 mining (RF powered)
- Kiln - Temperature-controlled crafting for valves
Tools¶
Configuration and network management tools.
- Wrench - Configure pipes, engines, and machines
- Marking Fluid - Color-code copper pipes to segment networks
Materials¶
Gears, valves, ores, and crafting components.
Gears (Engines & Machines): - Wooden Gear - Basic | Stone Gear - Stone - Iron Gear | Copper Gear | Tin Gear | Bronze Gear - Mid tier - Gold Gear | Diamond Gear - Advanced - Netherite Gear - End tier
Valves (Kiln-Crafted): - Tier 1: Copper | Tin (Coal fuel) - Tier 2: Iron | Bronze (Coal at limit/fails) - Tier 3: Gold | Apatite (Blaze rod/lava) - Tier 4-6: Diamond | Ender | Emerald | Lapis | Obsidian | Netherite | Blazing (Lava required)
Ores & Metals: - Tin Ore → Tin Ingot - Common metal - Bronze Ingot - Copper + tin alloy - Apatite Ore → Apatite - Gem material
